Hello, my name is Michelle. Welcome to my ministry site! I’m a worship pastor, vocalist & acoustic guitar player, and also enjoy writing, speaking, teaching & traveling. I’ve been involved in worship arts ministries in various capacities throughout my adult life. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership and Management from George Fox University in Portland, Oregon; and am currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Portland Seminary. A few years ago I joined the faculty at WorshipNW, a regional ministry conference in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. I attend River Valley Church, a multi-campus network in Grants Pass, Oregon, where I serve as part of the ministry leadership team. There are always new skills to be cultivated and room for improvement… and I cherish the friends and co-laborers God has placed in my life along the way as we encourage and learn from one another.

My hope here is to begin to catalogue some of my thoughts and observations on the art of leading well, some occasional devotional thoughts, and also at times some suggestions on resources that I have found useful.  I love to dialogue with other worship pastors and leaders, so please comment if you’d like!
