fullsizeoutput_aefI’ve been involved in church music and creative ministries in one capacity or another for more than 25 years. During that time I’ve made a lot of mistakes, had joys and successes, and have been blessed to be able to serve with many great musicians, sound engineers, vocalists and creatives of all types. I’m primarily a worship leader, vocalist & acoustic guitar player, but have also played percussion and done some writing, speaking, teaching & traveling.  I’ve attended workshops and conferences, and have also organized and led local classes and workshops to encourage others from my community who have a love of music and a heart to serve the Lord with their gifts. I also love learning from others! There are always new skills to be cultivated and room for improvement.. and I cherish the friends and co-laborers God has placed in my life and the ways they each encourage and teach me. Currently I’m blessed to be serving as part of  the Worship Ministry leadership team at River Valley Church in Grants Pass, Oregon.

Leading worship is a tremendous responsibility and a lot of hard work, but also a lot of fun. Being able to serve, minister and lead through music is one of my greatest joys and privileges; whether at my home church, at special events or visiting as a guest leader to other congregations as they have need. Or even on the other side of the globe! I love it! And am happy to go wherever the Lord sends me.

Thank you for visiting my site. My hope is to begin to catalogue some of my thoughts and observations on the art of leading well, some occasional devotional thoughts, and also at times some suggestions on resources that I have found useful.  I love to dialogue with other worship leaders! So please comment if you’d like! And feel free to reach out to me via my contact page or if you prefer my Instagram or Facebook pages.  I hope you find something here to inspire or encourage you as you seek to serve Jesus and His Church with the gifts and passions He’s given you.  ~  Soli Deo Gloria ~ Michelle
